MEET THE TEAM

Verona has joined our team after gaining valuable experience at a busy practice in Tauranga. She combines strong clinical expertise with a warm, patient-centred approach to eye care, and we are delighted to welcome her back to her hometown.

In fact, Verona completed her student externship with Barry & Sargent a few years ago, making her very familiar with the values and standards of care that define our practice. She is passionate about providing personalised, high quality eye care and is experienced with general eye examinations and management of eye conditions, including prescribing therapeutic medications.

Verona is excited to make full use of Barry & Sargent’s technology and the broad range of eye care solutions to deliver the best care for her clients.  She enjoys getting to know her clients, understanding their visual needs and building long-term relationships based on trust and excellent care.

Outside of work, she can be found exploring the outdoors with her husband and staying active, including a little friendly competition on the volleyball court. Her warm nature and excellent communication skills will make every visit a positive experience, ensuring you are comfortable and able to see your best.
